We will refund any product that has arrived in poor condition, misprinted, damaged, defective or broken. You can also, in these cases, ask us to resend the product (we will manufacture it again) without damage at no cost to you.
Any claims for misprinted, damaged or defective items must be submitted within 2 weeks after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 2 weeks after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
The return addresses are:
United Satates of America: Packages sent out from our US fulfillment centers are returned to our Charlotte facility. Its address: 11201 Ed Brown Rd, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28273.
European Union: Meanwhile, packages sent out from our Europe location are automatically returned to our Europe fulfillment center. Its address: Lidostas parks, Marupes novads, Latvia LV-2167.
When we receive a returned shipment, an email notification will be sent to you. Unclaimed returns get donated to charity after 4 weeks.
Wrong Address – If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you.
Unclaimed – Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our facility and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment to yourself.
Returned by Customer – It is best you contact us before returning any products. We do not refund orders for buyer’s remorse, and size exchanges are not to be offered. A new order, at your expense, would need to be placed for an updated size.
Right of withdrawal
Canvas.Market is a European Union company. In its commercial relations with its customers, Canvas.Market submits to the jurisdiction of the Law of the European Union.
The right of withdrawal is the right that a customer has to return the product despite the fact that the product is in perfect condiction and has reached its destination perfectly. So, it is the right to return the product without just cause, only because the customer has regretted the purchase without reason.
We manufacture canvases and posters one by one, on your demand. We don’t have any stock. When you order a canvas or poster in our store, we will send your order to our production facilities, to manufacture it. So, you are not buying a product when you make a order. Really, you are contracting a service: a service of production on your demand.
According to Article 16(a) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal may not be provided when the service contracts after the service has been fully performed if the performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent, and with the acknowledgement that he will lose his right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed by the trader. As you contract a service of production when you order a canvas or poster in our store, when we start the manufacture of your canvas or poster on your demand, you will lose the right of withdrawal. Therefore Canvas.Market reserves rights to refuse this type of returns at its sole discretion.
